RTIRN profiled by UN

We are very happy to share some good news with you – the Secretary General’s 2011 final report on improving road safety to the UN General Assembly is attached. The report shows some of the activities and achievements that took place on October 2009 to August 2011 towards the objectives of the Decade of Action for Road Safety.

In the report, RTIRN is profiled as one of the institutions dedicated to the data collection and research/monitoring of the Decade of Action (page 17, number 60). The different activities that the RTIRN has carried out to support research capacity in low and middle income countries are highlighted as well.

It is great that the work done by all of us has been profiled and acknowledged by the U.N. at international level.
