Hosted by the Malaysian Institute for Road Safety Research (MIROS), the second semi-annual board meeting for the RTIRN was held on May 9, 2008. The discussion at the meeting centered on reviewing RTIRN project activities for the World Bank Trust Fund grant, planning for future course of action for these projects, and seeking additional funds for the network. Rotation of those board members who had completed their term was also a significant issue for discussion. The resigning board members were appreciated for their contributions to the network, and the decision was taken to disseminate a call for nominations for three positions on the board.
