The first RTIRN Board Meeting of 2010 took place on June 17th 2010 in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico. This meeting was held at the Entornos Foundation facilities which is current host of the RTIRN Secretariat. At this meeting, the Secretariat presented its six-month report of activities followed by an analysis of the Launching ceremony and Regional Workshop.
Final report of activities regarding the World Bank Grant received by the RTIRN was discussed in detail and options to get financial support to carry on the network’s activities for the future were commented.
This meeting was the last for Dr. Wilson Odero, who was an excellent member of the Board during the past 6 years. The RTIRN Chairs thanked Dr. Wilson for all his commitment to the Network. He will be missed. A call for nominations for the vacant position would be announced soon.
