ALINAGNON and its partner Handicap International organized a special event to reward the 13 Road Safety Clubs settled in Cotonou.
Two contests were launched. The first one was a road safety poem contest for primary school pupils. The poems were judged by a professional jury which chose the 3 best ones and granted their authors’ Clubs with 75 0000 FCFA and 50 000 FCFA prizes. These rewards will be used by the Clubs to buy awareness material.
The second contest had three different prizes, for dynamism, communication and mobilization. Each winning Club received 50 000 FCFA for the actions they took during the year.
The event took place at the EPP Sacré-Coeur School on October 9th, in the presence of the authorities from Cotonou and was covered by national media.
