The 5th Global NGO Meeting kicked off on 1st April in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, with more than 200 members from 70 different countries. There are as expected world-renowned speakers, excellent learning opportunities featuring best practices from around the globe, and of course, plenty of opportunity for networking. See the agenda HERE.
Two key elements of the Global Meeting will be the kickoff event for UNGRSW in a nearby local community and the signing of a Malaysia Declaration calling for greater commitment to road safety.
The event will also feature an awards ceremony, including a special award presented by FedEx, to recognize Alliance members who have a results-oriented commitment, are involved in the growth of the Alliance, and show willingness to learn. It is a fantastic event, which will inspire your work, build your skills and confidence, and enable you to meet with other NGOs, global organizations, and corporations from around the world. The Alliance also seeks to hire the following:-
- Part-time Finance Officer — working from home, 10–15 hours per month. Tasks include financial forecasting, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Alliance Fellow — based in New Delhi, India.
